But that doesn’t stop us from having fun .
Sreyashi,Ashwini,Saranya, Pavithra are the new joiners.
Swati and I have got lots of company now. We try to make our day as much lively and fun as possible by pulling each others legs and jokes.
Nadeem has got lot of gals in his proj to keep him company now.. hee hee….

Hungama @ Fun World

Me,Praveen,Sowmya,Nadeem and suman (my collegemates) had been to Fun World in the first weekend of Nov.
We broke our bones in some of the rides, Fun World aint so safe.
Its high time the Fun World owners take some interest and do arrange some more safety measures .
But then we had good time there.
sowmya is posted in Hyderabad permanently so she comes once in a while and we dint want to miss out the chance.
We were dangerously hanging in many rides, with me screaming all the while Nadeem was big time ragging me .
Praveen was a good observer that day and suman our camera man hee hee .
One interesting aspect of Suman is he was so scared of heights tat he dint accompany us in many rides but u know wat u can find his snap in each and every ride which was taken when the machines were stopped :) hee hee

These were the few videos taken ,
In the First video, i tried explaining Nadeem to turn the camera but he dint..u know ...nads...
but that turned out to be funny .......... they zooming on me while eating and all is lil scary ..watch out be carefull :)

In the 2nd video -u can see them ragging me :) royally..........
They just irritated me to hell.... It just boils down to the fact that evrybody wants to be treated well,, but they left me screaming..Excuse me Excuse me :( ,which happens to be my dialog now and then, when happy, sad, angry and wat not :)

What’s on your mind?

What’s running in your mind constantly is one question you need to check upon with yourself, the more negative you think about yourself and situations, the outcomes would be the same.

I have heard a lot about disasters occurring to people who lack patience in their lives, hoping that I never end up in such kind of disaster.

Every problem will have a way out, and as they say “A conclusion is simply the place where you got tired of thinking.”

As some of us are leading our lives in the corporate world which involves lot of hassles, we end up hurting our dear ones cos of the tensions involved at work or due to suppressed anger of someone in office.
This is very much true in my case so am planning to think few good things done by the same person who does / causes tension, this might cool my temper... hee hee …

Having lots of expectations on anyone/anything would only lead to misery and disappointment. Instead of waiting for something to happen, what I feel is … its better to start working towards it slowly and consistently and make it happen …..

All we youngsters have so much to achieve in our life , instead of changing everything around us the way we want its better to give time and think of the bigger goal which we have always dreamt upon and work towards it day by day …..

By nourishing our mind everyday with self motive thoughts and good values about our family and work atmosphere. I guess we can achieve big things in life,
I have tried this and I feel its working and am feeling even more confident and using my day more productively.

Gyan Time: If we feed our body with junk food and our mind with bad thoughts, we will have both a sick body and mind. We need to feed our mind with the pure and the positive to stay on track.
Through constant practice and exposure, we can learn the principles that make a person
Successful.

Lalbagh adorned to commemorate 60th year of India's Independence

Lalbagh – Decorated to mark the 60 th Year of Independence Day celebration

Lalbagh is known for its famous “Flower show” every year .
The Annual Flower Show at LalBagh is always a delight for flower and Photography enthusiasts.

I got to visit lalbagh with my cousin and just loved it .

The Glass house was the centre of the attraction.
Cos it was filled with over 100,000 roses of different varieties, besides orchids and sunflowers.

The Taj Mahal, created with red and white roses, was one of the major attractions , over 60,000 roses have been used to create this Taj Mahal miniature.
Two types of roses were used which included the 'Grand Gala' (red) and the white rose have been extensively used in this creation.

Was gazing at it for more than half an hour , trying my best to capture the best shot .

There was a flower miniature of the 'launching of a space shuttle - SPUTNIK', which is made of more than 26,000 roses. This miniature reflects the success of development in India.

You can see that below:

Miniature of this (below) Floral pair added some more charisma in the air.

Digital Dreams

Oh Yeah … One of the very first things that I wanted to do after I got into a job was to buy a Digital camera .
Unfortunately it took many days for me .. My friend Nadeem informed abt a good offer and now am a proud owner of Sony Cyber Shot DSC S650 , 7.2 MegaPixel.

This was one of my very first shot taken in my camera which I personally liked.
There are some snaps uploaded in my picasa album which were taken by my digi cam quite complacent about them.
Started to learn some tips and tricks of digital photography .

Painting Bangalore Green :

It was “World Environment Day “ yesterday ..

Bangalore has lost its charm which it used to have earlier .
One could experience cool shade beneath the tress planted all across the streets.
But now more and more buildings are being constructed, roads widened which results in uprooting the trees .

It’s up to the civilians of the cities to keep their cities clean and green, We cant just sit back and keep blaming the government for everything, start by keeping your surroundings near your home clean and grow plants as much as possible.
Avoid using plastic as they take millions of years for degradation.

I loovvvvvvvveeeeeee Plants ,Flowers, greenery …. There was a Plant exhibition in my office today, its nice to know that our company is coming up with such initiatives which would definitely help in contributing to a Greener Bangalore , this is the plant which i bought ,,simple yet beautiful

This is my Garden at home ,

@ Work :
There’s a plan about an outing this month, me and Swati are waiting for the same.

And by the way got my certification results for CSTE and have secured a good score of 89%. Quite more than I had expected….

Before I can reach to an end of this post, wanted to talk about Success and happiness which every person in this world seeks for:

Success and happiness go hand in hand. Success is getting what you want and
Happiness is wanting what you get!

Existence alone is not success! It is a lot more!
Do more than exist -- live
Do more than touch -- feel
Do more than look -- observe
Do more than read -- absorb
Do more than hear -- listen
Do more than listen – understand

Kurumgad Island -Karwar Trip

After being exhausted and bored with our monotonous work , and since we believe in this slogan – “Work Hard , Party Harder” .
Our Team decided to go for a trip again this time for an island….. yeah sounds cool ryt….

It turned out to be one hell of an exhilarating trip I have ever gone for …..

We decided to go to KurumGad Island ,a 45 mins ferry ride from Karwar near Mangalore , which is a port town on the banks of Kali Nadi River .

This is the site…
http://www.thegreatoutdoorsindia.com/

Altogether we were 70 of them, and were split into 4 groups of 15 each and the rest 10 were Team building team.
The four teams had one lead each leading them , and I was the Lead for my team hee hee...

It was great being a Lead to several big shots in my team . I was a Team leader for 2 days.

The 4 teams were – Island Brigadiers, Tremendous 12, C-Rockers, DNA(Do Not Ask ),

Our Team name was DNA ….. Do Not Ask us why we opted that name……

Our points were calculated based on how each team assembled , collaborated, participated, mingled each and everything.

We took off on Friday evening @7.30 PM in 2 luxurious buses carrying 35 ppl on board each.
After lots of shor and hungama for 2 hours in bus we reached A1 Plaza which was Reliance Group’s restaurant had good dinner and started again.

It was a long drive to Karwar , it was supposed to take 10 hrs but we took almost 14 hrs cos of the small breaks which we took in between , had nice time in bus .singing aloud and stuff. Whoever dared to sleep were disturbed with whistles and slogans J

I however managed to fall asleep when I woke up the next day I cudnt believe my eyes the sight was splendid , we were going down a hill …. Covered with lush green trees and bushes , it was a marvelous site .

I woke up everybody next to me all were wonder struck ………..
Few mins from then we cud see the mangalore beach , we reached karwar in other 1.5 hours . we reached at 10 AM on the Karwar Port .

We took a ferry and reached Kurumgad island , we could see the meeting place of Kali nadi and Arabian sea , ( blue-green mix) it was too good.

We reached the island, at about 11 AM were very tired. Just barged in to our tents and cottages and took a quick shower and assembled back again to celebrate one of our seniors Bday party. It was a surpise for him we had made arrangements and had decorated his cottage as well where he was gonna spend a day with his wife …hmmm how romantic.

We then had our breakfast and started off with lotsof games like..Queen of Sheeba – where the “Most Demanding Queen “ on this earth would demand for all weird things and all our 4 teams shud set out and get her demands.

Some of her demands were like – 5 diffrnt kind of flowers, blue, pink, white rings, 4 LG Mobiles and stuff…..

And the other game was PonyTail competition , where the first round was gals tying pony tails to boys and the second round was vice versa.

We then played the Baloon-Blow until it bursts competition ….it was very funny…..

Then we were asked to pick a chit each for the late nyt Bonfire party now itself so that we get time to practice…

Team A- picked up Group Song, Team B – Skit ,Team C- fashion Show , Team D – Group Dance (J my team).

We all then changed to our Beach attire cos we were gonna hit the beach in some time.
We then reached the beach wow wat a splendind sight again the view from cliffs and other places which we have captured in our shots are extremely breath taking .

In the beach I cudnt stop myself from playing in the beach , and now u wont believe me being a lead I was being controlled by my team mates J … cos I was refusing to come out of the beach J

U know……I cudnt help It was tat good…. It was like that Cast Away movie island so clear and so good .

We then played Tug Of Wars which was real fun , at the end of all
the Team A,B,C,D competition we had a round where Gals Vs Boys was held….

Guess who won…………..

naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa not boys it was we the simplest and sweetest creations of God - Gals who won the Tug Of War’s…..

And then we played another game which was so tiring, “Filling the Bottle with water” …not as simple as it sounds so….

The bottle was placed few mts away from beach, 10 ppl standing alternatively for each team.
The person near the beach should collect water in his palm and pass it to the next it continues and the person near the bottle should pour the contents in to the bottle…. By the time the water is passed from each and every ones hand it wud spill and hence took lot of time….
We then played “Art of Entangling “ , each team would be in a big knot formed by holding left hand of one person to right hand of the third person .
We were supposed to entangle and form one big circle without leaving of our hands.

Tat was fun too….

We returned back to our Tents and Cottages and had a quick shower, had lunch
and started of with our respective rehearsals for the group activity.
Our Team selected – Sajjna Di Vaari vaari of Honey Moon Travels for our Group dance.

It’s a good catchy song with nice beats. We practiced for sometime and then were just chilling out exploring all the places and views …

We had some Bday celebrations and Award function, we gathered up on dance floor and the events began again.

After the award ceremony we started up with the group performances the entire group did well… Our team danced well I guess after 4 years I danced forgetting every other thing on earthJ

Had extreme fun dancing. we then had dinner and started off with dancing again . I was one among the ppl who danced the whole night … don’t ask me how I managed but I did….along with swathi my friend….

We did tribal dance J near the Bonfire later at midnyt …and then from then on I cudnt ..
was all tired so returned back to my tent….

Some ppl were still partying out…

The next day morning we all assembled again after breakfast for the announcement of the winning group.

The –Tremendous 12 group won in most of the games so they were the winners… and my Team won the “Triumphant Group” prize….. For the zeal and passion we showed by dancing all nyt J

We then set out and left the island in the ferry , the buses were waiting for us at the port and we took off to Blore . It was a good Funfilled trip.

Charismatic Billy

Bill Gates has always been a inspiration to me... not cos of the money he makes but for the "Never ending success" he makes...

Microsoft has always had a soft corner in my heart .

It's been 3 years since i joined the student community and my best part of student life was me being a student champ .

The weekend session's , bi-annual events were really best time of my life.

In one of those days i got to witness the most unforgettable event which i missed out to blog abt.

he was in Bangalore on Dec 9 2005 . We got to see him in the "Ready to Rock tour " presentation one of the privileges i enjoyed being a student champ cum ambassador. lucky me...

"The very moment Bill Gates made his entry on stage .... all of us just stood and were speechless... dont know why....

It was dream come true for some .... his simplicty, patience, the way he thinks before and answers for a question shot at him was really good.

Can never forget the day....

Birthday gal!!!

Well the Birthday gal was obviously me ……….. I celebrated my birthday on jan 1 this week ...ya i was born on a new year day...

And this Birthday is so much different than the rest which I celebrated cos this year
I am an Independent Gal “ …….. Hmmm feels nice to say so… cos I had longed from a long time to call myself a Independent gal…. hee hee

My B’day date has its own pros and cons …well let me just tell the ‘Cons’ in this post (cos thinking positive is one of my resolution hee hee) Nobody forgets my birthday … I get wishes pooling in from several friends right from my friends at school to my College mates and work friends…. And the whole world celebrates my birthday.

Had a good time got a couple of good gifts from my sweetest friends , can never forget those wishes which was said to me on 12 AM on jan 1. Must be lucky to have such good friends.
Well this Bday am lil upset at some of my old close friends for not meeting me… issues are not sorted out still …. Well if u know me from years u will know wat are the consequences of making me angry hee hee…..

Apart from my B’day I welcomed this New Year with high hopes…….. 2006 was a great year for all of us in my family…right from mom getting her Dream house, me getting my Dream job, Sunny getting his promotion, and Dad ‘s recovering health condition and finding some peace in his job which was hectic all these years.

As years go by I can say that I take something or the other from the previous year,
And tat ‘something’ can be experience, memorable moments ,leaving behind the sorrows of my prev years…..

But I have noticed tat as I am growing up I feel tat life is getting more complicated, handling relationships… creating new friends and maintaining the old ones….phew….

As I am no more a student this year and have started working I feel more responsible of everything now….
Careful and cautious in everything ryt from the words I speak and their possible interpretations by others.
Conscious of the expenses I make and stuff… (not really hee hee).

But then I am loving the new Sense Of Responsibilty flowing inside me …………..

Christmas Celebrations ……..

On behalf of Christmas our project members came up with an idea of Secret Friend….
The concept is pick one chit among all the chits which had the entire team members name and get them a gift.

We weren’t supposed to spill the beans about who our secret friend is…
Every one were curious to find out secret friends of the other few succeeded few did not.

The idea was to get a gift in such a way that the person must know who would have given it to them….

We had the celebration on 20 th … we are lucky enough to get christmas gifts much before the Christmas…

I got a beautifull bag from Gopi dint expect a guy would purchase something so sweet for a gal.. .. And my Secret friend was Sunil I gifted him a Archies Mug…

We enjoyed he fullest … with Dumbsharads and Secret Santa Games spicing up our day…

Music For The Mind …………….

For all those who thought music is just for entertainment ……. Think again cos u r wrong….

Certain sounds aren’t just music for your ears but even to your mind. For they don’t merely please your senses but can also rejuvenate your health if used correctly.
That’s the premise of Music Therapy.

I read abt this therapy in the papers and got to learn more abt it . It is said that this therapy has its beginnings in the fact that everyone responds to music it helps speed up the recovery process especially after surgery. It’s also been effective in conditions such as stress, insomnia, depression and for pregnant women.

So the next time you return home after a stressful day, try tuning off your worries by turning on your music players…..
Some soothing music just might spare you a trip to the doctor much later….

SchoolMates - Re-Union

Last Sunday we had a Small Re-Union of few of our old schoolmates.
The feeling of meeting our old friends whom we haven’t met for quite sometime was quite interesting .
We decided to meet at the Gokul’s in CMH Road. Nothing particular abt the spot but it was a good restaurant..
Even though few of them dint make it to the Re-union, we had a good time.
Was surprised to see the quite ones turned naughty, and the mischievous ones turned very serious in life…. :)
And the short ones grown up long and thin ones gone lil fat… :)
In our long 4 hour meet we discussed various things, the most interesting part was finding out wat happened to the school crushes which is going on or off ……. And then abt our principal , teachers and stuff…. Gossips abt them…..

It was quite good . we had a great time. We all remembered writing down and telling our ambitions in class .. like I wanna be this I wanna be that when I grow up … we were just verifying abt everyone. Its sad that few cudnt attain their ambitions, and few did. Am happy tat I managed to achieve my ambition but then still long way to go… as my ambitions never end…

Well that’s life accng to me ,we need to keep on running and running as time and tide waits for none and we have to leave our mark in this world before we die .

Hope to meet everybody soon again.

Oooh La La Wonder La ..........

What a week it was………….. My first week work experience in Accenture was too good…. I must say I started my work with a big bang………….. Whole of our DU had been to Wonder La on 25 th …. Wonder la is a huge fantasy park which has got heart-pounding Dry rides and water rides …. Its widely spread across a huge area…

We started our Action Packed Wonder La adventure with one of the deadliest Dry ride of all – “The Maverick”.

It seemed like we were seated in the claws of a monster whose main intention was to drop us from the tallest position…….
We were upside down for a moment…. Felt like screaming like hell..and tat ‘s wat i had been doing the whole day………….. we were left hanging in Maverick for couple of seconds… hee hee………

We did some Net walking , everybody were trying our best to climb faster than the other…. One look underneath u will be dead scared….. All my ancestors came in to my mind…. I was so scared hee hee .........

And were Ready to be dropped at the “Drop Zone” ………… we then dashed each other Cars in the Dashing Cars……

After couple of such rides we had our lunch , I was lil disappointed over losing my fav long earing……

We then proceeded to Water Rides , started of with a cool swimming pool which had all these tunnels to slide and stuff….

We then proceeded to Wave Pool…. Bangalore is such a wonderfull city and name anything u want and u will find it except for an ocean …and poor bangaloreans don’t get to enjoy the ocean waves….. thanx to WonderLa for making tat wish come true too though not tat comparable with Ocean Waves.. the artificially created waves in Waves Pool was too good…..

We stayed in the Wave Pool for long time… clinging on to a Rope which is provided for support or else I wud have sunk…..

“Rain Disco” was the latest new attraction in Wonder la … it was awesome…. Cool songs played by DJ and Water Sprinklers all over with circulating colorful disco lights ……. All of our dancing skills came out tat moment…..
Couple of Couples :) were lost in their own worlds…..

We then got lazy in the “Lazy Pool”, with our PM’s daughter Anaga a cute kid leading us…… It’s a slow moving pool thru which we are supposed to float in those Life saving tubes or whatever….

We then made our way to “Twisters” which is a long closed and open two tunnel rides from 3 rd floor height….. the closed was lil scary which seemed like a never ending tunnel…..

“Water Pendulum’ ride was good too…. We then moved too the most famous and joy ride of all “Splash” tat was a good one……

Next and last Stop was “Musical Fountain” tat was good too…. Which was continued by good “ CineMagic” animated video……

It was a great experience overall…. More snaps are added in my album and recent snaps section……

IScan Tensions……………….

IScan is the name of the Software given to our Online Tests s/w.
We had some problems with it initially so we had offline test all these days…..

Today we had online test…. We were so nervous from yesterday cos the consequence of failing 2 tests was we being thrown “Out Of Accenture”.

Hmmm all 4 of us me, divya, sandhya and reenu had planned of so many strategies for writing tests….

I stayed back yesterday until 8.30 pm with Remya quizzing me ,Monappa,Tushaar and Gebin.

We prepared well but then too we were nervous cos the other batch people failed miserably and had received warning mails and stuff….

Finally the moment arrived and at 5pm after some initial hungama we took up the test….
Me and my friends cleared the tests with very good marks……

We are gonna have our final exit test Monday…….

Hope we do tat well too….

Training Batch Outing……………..

Its been almost a month and we even got our first salary in hands and had a feel of our Corporate life……. And our new trainer Sachin who trains us in java ,very sweet person who always used to play games like dumbsharads and stuff with us during breaks , he came up with an idea for a trip.

We planned abt the same for a week or so, and we finally decided to goto “Bluff Falls”,
i.e shivanasamudram and Talakad river basin.

Our friend Reenu dint make it for the trip , but we 3 divya ,me & Sandhya Dinesh were ready to go. We started for the trip on 29oct Saturday…….
Our friend Tushaar ditched us at the last moment by not coming......

We 13-14 of us hired a Tempo Traveller for the same, our journey to the place was a lil long……

we had good fun..with Ramya , sherin and Gebin singing out loud……
We three, me ,Divya and sandhya dinesh were happily engaged in a game called “Ano” … me and sandhya were confused initially abt the rules ,after so much efforts divya was successful in explaining it to us.

We reached Bluff falls …it was a lovely sight…..... Awesome place.....
We took a couple of snaps there and then we again rode back to the other side of Bluff falls where we were nearby the falls and we could play in the water……

Sachin started off by splashing water on everybody…. Everybody were wet except Monappa who was busy taking our snaps.

Abhishek , sunil and Puneet were trying to pose over a large boulder in middle of our falls…. Sunil swam for a while too….

We started from there and reached Talkad…. It was a good place too…
We went in a Row boat which was circular in shape….
The boat men even gave a spin to our boat it was awesome…..
we 3 were staying away from water…but then sachin, jebin and sherin pulled us into the water….

Everybody were busy playing in water…..
Pullling each other pushing each other into the water….. and wat not....

We had a great time……..Can never forget them..............

We had a good time…
And our Community won the “Best Technical User Group” …

B3-06

This is the number of my shuttle in which I travel to Bang3 situated in Banergatta road near Forum Mall.

It is a huge White and blue bus with Arrow symbol > in the glasses . Our company doesn’t use its name in most of the places , except for the symbol “>” .

The name and symbol signifies “Accent Towards Future”.

I got introduced to a friend called Abhishek in one of the Orkut communities for Accenture even before I joined .
sweet person used to give me all the information of what is happening in training and stuff, and he introduced me to Shantha Jyothi….

Shanta hmmmmm a calm gal with cute smile 24*7 , she stays near my home she accompanies me in bus.. We always make fun of some silly songs being played in our radio.

We have a couple of friends in Bus whom we haven’t spoken to until today but just notice each other and give a smile……

It s a long journey to office abt 2 hours …thanks for the Bangalore traffic or else it wud have been just a 45 mins journey…………..

Bangalore is getting overpouplated each and every day........................
